Don “Doc” Fellows Info & History
The Don “Doc” Fellows Regatta is one of the NEIYA’s longest running annual events. It has been consistently held since 1975. The race has a rich history of stiff competition and winners.
Traditionally held in the first couple weeks of January winners have bragging rights for the rest of the year. Being the first major club regatta it serves as a perfect high performance tuning ground for the upcoming IDNIYRA events be they regional North Americans or Worlds. 1993 winner Jeff Kent went on to win the DN World Championship later that year
