Hi Guys, there is 7 inches of ice on Covehead Bay in P.E.I…..We had some rain so there is about I inch of fresh water ice on the top . We are expecting temperatures of about 15 degrees for the next two days, so lots of ice. I would rate the ice at 7.5 with spots of crusty snow about 1-1.5 inches covering 20% of the bay in various patches. Easy to avoid. Winds are expected to be about 12mph gusting to 25 mph for the next two days…… Temperatures to moderate around 30 degrees for Christmas then dropping back to about the same as now for Monday on….Merry Christmas PETER MCLAINE

  2. It was so lovely yesterday! Too bad about the forecast. Lots of Winnipesaukee is still open, though.
