Iceboat Lecture And DN North Americans Call For Volunteers

Never too hot out to talk iceboats- with that in mind go see Joe Meade giving a lecture on iceboating on June 15th at the Keuka Yacht Club at 7pm as part of the Finger Lakes Boat Museum’s Monthly Lecture Series. Should be cool- Joe is an enthusiastic iceboater, a great speaker, and a heck of a nice guy to boot! More information will follow on this site-

As for planning out your winter, John Atkins reminds us that the dates for the 2018 NAs have been set. Jan 21 thru 28, 2018. This is being hosted by the Eastern, Canadian and Mountian Lakes regions. With that said John and the organizers are looking for Race Committee volunteers. If you have any interest in helping please let me know. They are also looking for 4-wheelers for use on the ice. We won’t know the location until we get there so if you are willing to travel to wherever or just stay with in your own region let him know.
