Matt McCauley used to lay down three grooves at a time racing his DN but has backed off on the ice sailing to focus more on the low end of things- specifically the bass. Similar to the DN as it is made of wood and kind of hard to transport but lots of fun to play with once you get it set up.

Presumably he is only laying down one groove at a time these days, unless of course he is getting into some complex polyrhythmic stuff- you never know with these jazz cats….

The former NEIYA Commodore was spotted playing in a jazz trio during an art show at the Guilford, CT Art Center. He was last sighted at the DN Gold Cup in Kingston, ON where he won a brand new North FO-1 sail- Glad to see him out and about and playing up a storm- hope to see him on the ice this winter!
